Creating a Timeline

Timelines are helpful in so many different ways. It allows for everyone to know when things are supposed to get done. Let’s be honest just because you create a timeline it does not mean everything is going to run according to schedule, the faster we accept that the better.

The amount of detail a timeline has is up to you, too little detail could result in excess questions while too much detail could result in information overload, but in my opinion too much information is better than not enough.

Above you will find a timeline that begins with ceremony time and ends with the cake. This is a good timeline, but it leaves so much room for questions.

This timeline has a different set of information like when hair and makeup is getting done, and when the couple is arriving at the venue. The timeline does provide some more information, but could have more. Information that should be included would be the entrance order for introductions, order of speeches, and list of dances.
